About Coral Cay

One of the premier gated communities in the Huntington Harbour area of Huntington Beach, California is Coral Cay. It is considered a hidden gem and residents enjoy living on the waterfront.

The homes of Coral Cay were built between 1975 to 1978 and typically have three to six bedrooms as well as 2,400 to 6,500 square feet of space. This luxury waterfront community offers a tri-channel for many of the homes which can house boats up to 55 feet in size. Neighborhood amenities include lit tennis courts, 24-hour security, and access to a private boat dock. Residents love being able to watch the Huntington Christmas Boat Parade from their backyards.

Highly ranked schools that serve the Coral Cay community include Agnes L. Smith Elementary School, Marine View Middle School, and Marina High School. There are also several private schools in the Huntington Beach area including: St. Simon and St. Jude Elementary School, Hebrew Academy, Liberty Christian School, and Brethren Christian Junior and Senior High School.

Huntington Harbour offers five “Mother’s beaches” that have shallow water and are considered safe for children. You’ll also see many kayakers and paddle boarders; and even long-distance swimmers in this area. Rowers of all ages train on the main channel here. This region is usually a couple degrees warmer than the ocean and a little slower paced with boat traffic limited to a five MPH No Wake. The harbor is located near the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve as well as the Naval Weapons Station Seal Branch. The Huntington Harbour Yacht Club has over 300 people and gives sailing lessons to disadvantaged youth during the summer.

There are many water activities in Coral Cay and residents are close to surfer boutiques and restaurants as well as the major shopping centers of Huntington Beach. The Outlets of Orange features stores and venues like: Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th; Banana Republic Factory Store, Dave & Buster’s, and Lucky Strike Bowling.
